Arts and Crafts

Various types of arts and crafts are prominently practiced and displayed at many opportunities. The Art Center at Fuller Lodge was established in 1977 to support these activities. It provides several juried exhibitions each year, maintains a gallery shop selling work of over 100 local artists, provides classes and artists groups, and schedules several community events throughout the year. • Los Alamos Photographers' Show (2/1-3/2/2008)
• Art expressions in science and technology (3/28 - 5/3/2008)
• Traditional fine arts and crafts (5/9 - 6/14/2008)
• Uncommon threads by regional art quilters (6/20 - 7/26/2008)
• Summer arts and crafts fair (9/9/2008)

and much more.

The annual studio tour is a separate activity. The 2007 tour involved 16 artists opening their studies for a Saturday and Sunday in April, for people to come by, see their work, and meet them in person. This activity has been ongoing since 2004, and we expect it to continue.
